Last week Dave and I flew to Miami to set sail on a cruise to the Bahamas! My best friend Megan and her fiance Andy booked the same cruise and we met them in Florida for some couples time away in the sun. Don't worry we weren't on the cruise ship that was stranded, thank goodness.
It was a week of relaxation. We snorkeled, kayaked, hot tubbed it up, played roulette (and won), ate delicious food, and laid out in the sun.

The snorkeling was amazing. I had never been before. It's unreal to watch fish swim around right before your eyes. We swam around for a good long while but as soon as I saw a couple of jellyfish I was more than ready to get out of the water.
After I finally got the hang of using my mask I was good to go. Dave and I jumped in the water and swam around the coral reef. Holding hands watching the schools of fish swim around me was honestly one of the most amazing things I've experienced. The boat that we were on had a rock climbing wall as well as a slide which we happily used.
Our first big vacation is over and I can't wait to go on another one with Dave. Paradise with my baby is heavenly....actually anywhere with Dave is just perfect. Yeah I know I should have warned you it was going to get mushy at the end.
