Safety

I don't want to be a Debbie downer, but I'm going to take a more serious note and talk about safety.
Don't worry, nothing has happened to me or anything but I do have an active imagination. And for someone who practically lives alone that's not always a good thing. I tend to hear every creak at night when I'm laying in bed and feeling most vulnerable. The other night I even sneezed and braced myself for someone (that might be hiding in my apartment) to say bless you. I just finished reading The Girl Who Played With Fire, so that along with my obsession with Law and Order SVU may have something to do with the scenarios in my mind of someone breaking into my apartment. Plus my friend Lindsey had someone try to break into her condo the other night but thank goodness her fluff ball of a dog scared them off before anything could happen to her. My apartment complex allowed me to purchase a lock and have the maintenance staff install it. This extra protection keeps my mind at ease and I sleep so much better. So stay safe friends, and if you have my Christmas present already you may want to pick up a lock since I'm going to want it kept safe.  :-)
