You should all probably know that I am smitten with Michael Buble. His voice is silky smooth, he dresses like Frank Sinatra, and has the sweetest, I'm your best friend next door but I've loved you for years, easy smile. I love his music to begin with, but this song Hold On I am really connecting to right now.
That's the thing with me and music. I listen to the lyrics and tend to like a song more if I feel a connection. Don't get me wrong, I still rock out to songs on the radio and on my ipod simply because they're fun and they have a good beat but the songs that make me feel something are even better. I have a few friends who listen to the lyrics more than the sound and it was always fun to make cd's and figure out the meaning behind what they put on there. However, doing that has ruined when anyone makes me cd's or has me listen to a certain song . I tend to look for the hidden meaning when it's actually pretty simple...they enjoy the song and want to share it.
Anyways... listen and enjoy. I'd tell you to shut your eyes and take it in but who wants to miss out on his baby face? Not me!
