I FINALLY got to meet up with my friend's girlfriend for some coffee this afternoon. Can I just say how amazing people are. She's being so positive in light of Danger being hurt. She said something to me today which has been going through my mind these past couple of weeks,"if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans." How true. You can plan things to a T but usually things don't happen the exact way you want them to. She didn't plan on him getting hurt in Afghanistan but she's dealing with it and being a tremendous support system for him. In view of that I've decided to stop, stop all my planning. I'm terrible with the whole go with the flow thing but it's what I'm going to have to do. In the grand scheme of things nothing matters but being there for those I love, regardless of whether I'm getting exactly what I think I want at the time.
