I can't believe its December already. What I can't believe even more is what I heard on the radio this morning. It was a gift idea for Christmas: a pap smear. Seriously. So I looked up the ad.

If I received this from my boyfriend my initial reaction would not be good. In the end I think I would appreciate his concern for my health but that is something I take care of and shouldn't ever be a present. AND if this was one of my gifts the other ones better make up for it. Here are actual gift ideas that don't include stirrups or speculums:

sweaters
picture frame
If you guys are struggling on what to get your special lady this year the default should never be a medical exam. Period.

hahaha, yeah... I don't really like practical gifts anyways and this is VERY practical. I'd rather something fun that I wouldn't typically buy myself, even if it ends up being a stuffed moose or a banjo. Leave the paps to the insurance companies!
