My best friend Megan and I are heading to Nashville this evening to play for the long weekend, so to get in the mood we decided to get some bbq for a late lunch. I always forget that I have an amazing barbecue place two blocks from my house. Kenny's BBQ is located at 732 Maryland Ave NE in Capitol Hill. It's a little hole in the wall, and not fancy but the food is delicious. Their mac and cheese is to die for, and their sandwiches are big enough that you can split them between two people. Megan loves their decor...it's drawings of pigs (the reason I drew my own above) all around the place. She finds it funny that they display pictures of pigs, like hey you're eating me, aren't I cute?
