These are the three books on my nightstand and I'm currently reading ALL of them at the same time. I actually finished a completely different book today. I picked it up yesterday while I was waiting for my *cough boyfriend cough* (whew I said it in the blog)at the airport. I read in one day Home Game by Michael Lewis. It was short, sweet, and I laughed out loud more than once.
"It's because you want to hurl it off the balcony and don't that you come to love it." A quote from the book I just read. And yes he's talking about his first born child.
I've decided sometime in the near future to go out and get a library card. When I moved down to Florida, Megan and I both got library cards from the town library and would make monthly trips for new reading material. Now I know it's unheard of in the days of the kindle to go out an borrowbooks but you know what? I like it. I like actual books. I like library books. They have a certain smell to them that I love. Plus it saves me so much money. Books are expensive. Yea sure I can buy them on amazon used but what's the point if I'm never going to read them again. I do have books that I treasure and will read again from time to time so I don't mind buying them but some trashy summer beach reads, do I really need to spend $13.95 on you? I don't think so.
